This is a General public announcement to make the public aware that the Sheriff's Office has received a call regarding a wild animal (Skunk) that attacked domesticated animals and was later found to have rabies. The Sheriff's Office also received a second call similar in nature and the animal has been sent off for testing. Both calls have been within the town of Palo Pint, if you notice a nocturnal animal out in the daylight hours and is acting abnormal contact Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office at 940-659-2085
